Abbott Sturgis plant recall

Abbott voluntarily recalled Similac, Alimentum, and EleCare powder made at its Sturgis, MI facility after reports of Cronobacter sakazakii infections in infants. The recall led to a months-long facility shutdown and a nationwide formula shortage.
